Academics & Pathways
Will I still earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Georgia Southern?
Yes.
You will follow a clear academic pathway that leads directly into your bachelor鈥檚 degree program. Your diploma will be from 快猫app短视, just like all other students.
What will I study in University College?
You鈥檒l begin in an associate-level pathway aligned with your intended major.
For example:
- If you choose Business 鈫 you start in a business-aligned associate pathway
- If you choose Criminal Justice 鈫 you start in a criminal justice pathway
These courses count toward your bachelor鈥檚 degree.
When do I move into my bachelor鈥檚 degree program?
You can transition once you:
- Complete 24+ credit hours
- Earn at least a 2.0 GPA
- Meet Learning Support and high school curriculum requirements
At that point, you move seamlessly into your bachelor鈥檚 program鈥no reapplication required.
Do I have to earn an associate degree first?
Not necessarily.
You may:
- Transition as soon as you meet requirements, or
- Complete your associate degree along the way (which can be a valuable credential)
Are there any majors I cannot transition into?
Most majors are available through this pathway.
However, some competitive or secondary admission programs (e.g., Nursing) may have additional requirements.
Student Experience
Will I still get the full Georgia Southern experience?

Can I live on campus?
